Welcome

Welcome to the Labradoodle Club of Great Britain website. If you have ever been lucky enough to meet a labradoodle you will have been charmed by their high intelligence, loyal and loving nature - not to mention their clown-like antics.

Our aim as the Labradoodle Club of Great Britain, is to promote and preserve this very special breed and to unite the people who love and admire them, as well as to educate you all to the unique traits of the British labradoodle.

You will find details on this site of experienced breeders and stud dog owners who have been breeding for a number of years, and who all charge less than £1000 for each puppy. All breeders have relevant health checks carried out by their vet and raise the puppies in their homes. The health test documents will be available for viewing when you visit your breeder. Our breeders pride themselves in the temperament of their dogs and puppies.

If your breeder is not listed on the member page, they are not a member of the Labradoodle Club of Great Britain.

Details of things happening throughout the country - walks, shows and fundraising events for labradoodle related charities will be shown on the events page.

As our breeders have donated various dogs to this charity, we support Canine Partners as our chosen charity.

People you can call, will be listed on the committee page if you are thinking of inviting a labradoodle into your home.  These have all been involved with labradoodles in the UK for many years. They will offer good advice and help in finding the right puppy for you.

The Labradoodle Club of Great Britain (incorporating The Miniature Labradoodle Club) was founded by a group of the original breeders of Labradoodles in the U.K. Since this time many people have formed their own groups and clubs which we are not a part of. We have been approached by many breeders who would like to join the club, but they have been turned down, simply because they do not reach the criteria expected. Breeders who desex / ESN their puppies are not invited to join since we vehemently oppose this unnecessary practice. Commercial breeders are also excluded.
